Why consider a heat kit?

A heat kit, such as the 15kW model, serves as a supplemental or secondary heat source installed within the air handler. Analogous to a "big blow dryer," it efficiently channels heat directly into the ductwork. Typically employed in emergencies when the heat pump is temporarily non-operational or during exceptionally cold weather conditions, heat kits provide rapid heating solutions. While they may not match the energy efficiency of heat pumps, heat kits offer essential heating support for short durations as needed.
